Anne Beall, Senior Pastor

Anne joined WPC as our Pastor in April of 2002. Since then, she has fallen in love with Wimberley and our WPC community! And we have found Anne's enthusiasm and love for the Lord to be infectious!

Anne was born in eastern Kentucky and grew up as the daughter of a Presbyterian minister. She earned her Masters of Divinity degree from Perkins School of Theology at SMU in Dallas in 1992, where she was Valedictorian of her class. Before coming to WPC, Anne was the Associate Pastor of Pines Presbyterian Church, a 600-member church on the west side of Houston.

Anne enjoys preaching, teaching and all that goes with being pastor to our WPC community. She has had experience working with all age groups and all areas of ministry within the church. In addition, she is a sought after conference and retreat speaker and workship leader.

Anne is married to Jim, a fellow Presbyterian and a retired oil company executive. Jim is very active in the church and local community affairs. Anne & Jim have two married daughters, both native Houstonians. Daughter Kristin is a Youth Director at a large Methodist church in Winchester, Virginia. Kristin and her husband Brandon are proud parents of Garrett and Parker, ages 10 and 6. And daughter Catherine with husband Alastair are proud parents of granddaughter Zoe (4 years old) and grandson Peter (2 years old). Catherine and Alastair are on the staff of Pines Presbyterian in Houston, serving as "alongside" ministers to the "marginalized" community near Pines, and also helping involve Pines members in the life of this community.

When not involved in the activities of the church, Anne enjoys reading mysteries, movies, shopping in Wimberley, entertaining at home, babysitting her grandchildren and driving the cart for her golfer husband! ...Contact Anne
