Wonderful Wednesdays are Church Night Suppers that occur from time to time on Wednesday evenings. When a Wonderful Wednesday occurs, it is well advertised in the Church Newsletter, the Church Bulletin, and on this web site.
Wonderful Wednesdays start with dinner at 6:00 pm and continue with a special program. The purpose of the program is always announced in advance. The dinner is sometimes "pot luck" and sometimes it is catered.
Any group in the church can organize a Wonderful Wednesday dinner and program. It must be approved by Session in advance.
These dinners and programs are not to be confused with the Wednesday dinner that occurs on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. This is Church Committee Night. These dinners always start at 6:00 pm and are followed by committee meetings at 6:45 pm. Wednesday night Choir practice and Men's Group begin on the second Wednesday following committee meetings. |
