We are experimenting with "streaming video" on our website. If you are viewing this website on a Macintosh computer, you will have no trouble watching the below youth video (it was created with iMovie and Quicktime software, both Apple products). If you are viewing on a PC, you may have to use the Firefox browser (which is a free download) with Quicktime installed (also a free download). Or, in order to easily see the video, you can also download a PC version of Safari (the Macintosh browser) to your PC (also a free download). The standard Internet Explorer 7 Microsoft browser which comes installed on PCs does not seem to "stream" this video properly (ie., start playing the media almost immediately, instead of after it all downloads). Any comments about your viewing experience, or questions about downloading alternative PC browsers, should be directed to the Webmaster (

- Fellowship Events. Examples include swimming, Super Bowl, and Halloween parties. Over 50 children and youth participated in this year's Halloween party! A highlight fellowship event is the annual ski trip, which takes place during the Christmas school break.
- Service Projects. The WPC Youth are responsible for trash pick-up for the two-mile stretch of FM 2325 that brackets our church. The youth also enjoy visiting shut-ins at Deer Creek Nursing Center and working locally with Habitat for Humanity.
- Regular Worship Participation. WPC youth help usher every Sunday and frequently fill the role of Lay Liturgist. Twice a year, including the Easter Sunrise Service and one 11:00 service, the youth are responsible for designing the entire worship service, including preaching of the Word. These are always memorable Sundays!
- Mission Trips. Fifteen to twenty of our youth participate each year in our annual youth mission trip. This is a week-long, away-from-home trip designed to provide significant spiritual growth through service to people in need. Some of our youth have also participated in the adult mission trips.
The Reverend David Slyter, our Associate Pastor for Youth and Families, leads our youth program, with help from several very able adult sponsors. Many of these same sponsors provide leadership to the youth Sunday School classes, thus providing continuity between learning and living the Word! Our Senior Pastor, Anne Beall, also spends time with the youth through the Confimation Class.
